Beginning of August sees the start of the world famous yachting event affectionately known as the “Cowes Week”. Throughout the world, Cowes is known as the International home of yacht racing. Cowes Week was established towards the end of the 19th century and is described as the greatest regatta of its kind in the world. This event takes place in the Isle of Wight.
